Ramen Boy Has Gas Problems

Meal Ticket has the story that PGW has knocked out the gas service to the just opened Ramen Boy. A skeptic might suggest this temporary closure has something to do with the damning early reviews from Yelp and elsewhere. Us, we’re just wondering what is up with the Gas Company, as the Chestnut Street Burger.Org had to close down for a couple days after they opened because of gas line problems.

We know Philadelphians might not always appreciate our customer service for gas issues so we’ve expanded to restaurant relations by cutting gas to restaurants you really shouldn’t try. We figure the time you save by not going to these places will be greater than the time you waste on the phone with us while we attempt to receive your bill payment on our telegraph machine.

PGW Rep that is a hilarious parody. How about giving a reply from PECO also ? PECO loves to have power outtages while gouging profits instead of replacing their 200 year old transformers. Bastard monopolies

Heh. There was a juice/coffee shop that opened up near 10th and Snyder (I forget the exact intersection and name of the place) back in the fall. I got the distinct impression I was their only customer. A few weeks later there was a sign on their door that they would be closed for the next week or so due to some paperwork problem with the city. That sign has been up for months now, and is still there even now. I knew as soon as I saw that sign that they would not be back, and I was right. Bit of a shame, really…

The neighbors shut the juice bar down because the owner is an convicted sex offender (a woman btw).

@barryg: Well then the neighbors are assholes.
