Goldenberg Peanut Chews Is Chewin’ It Old School

We are really enjoying the new ad campaign of longtime Philadelphia candy, Peanut Chews. The packaging has restored the Goldenberg name and the brand has launched a retro ad campaign connecting the chewy peanut-filled chocolate with its Philadelphia roots. We’ve spotted the ads on the subway, wrapping a SEPTA bus and even on TV in an ad starring former Eagle Ron Jaworski.

The candy started in Philadelphia back in 1917 and is still manufactured in Philadelphia. The candy is kosher and gluten-free. The Original Dark flavor is even vegan-friendly (how about that?).

Ave of the Arts COMMA will always be Broad Street to me, too.

I’m just glad they dropped the whole “chew-ets” thing. It struck me as… antisemitic.

What’s the name of the actor at the end who says the “Chewin’ it old school” line?
