Weekend: Shopping Breaks and Kennett Turns One

For happy hour we’re thinking Mexican and maybe taking advantage of El Rey’s Uno, Dos, Tres, Quatro Happy Hour.

Evidently tonight is about Napa cabbage. Both the Royal Tavern and Sidecar Bar are offering Napa cabbage in specials.

Saturday

The Lucky Old Souls truck is heading to the Chestnut Hill Growers’ Market. The truck will be offering its regular menu plus breakfast sandwiches and a breakfast burger.

Shopping downtown on Saturday? Swing through the Christmas Village at Love Park and be sure to stop at the Brauhaus Schmitz stand for brats und ein bier.

Sunday

Kennett celebrates its first anniversary with the help of bourbon barrel-aged beers from Yards Brewing. The brunch is always worth checking out and between 3 and 5 p.m., there will be complimentary snacks.
