Quick Bites: Opening Dates for Vedge, Tapestry and New Chef at 10 Arts

We had the opportunity to check out Vedge last night and came away very impressed by the decor and the food. You can check it out for yourself this Friday as Vedge has moved up its opening date. Update: Soft opening tonight. No liquor license means complimentary beer and wine.

Tapestry has set tomorrow as its opening night. Expect a beer-centric gastropub with 24 taps and over 100 beers by the bottle.

Eric Ripert has named a successor to Jennifer Carroll at 10 Arts. It will be Nathan Volz, who has been Carroll’s sous chef for the past two years. [The Insider]

Previously reported to be a branch of Ocean City’s Pure Tacos, Michael Klein tells us the former Pad Thai Shack on 18th Street will be Marquis & Co., a vegan fast food option. [The Insider]
