Spike TV may have “rescued” Downey’s but there are still big problems for the South Street spot. Downey’s is scheduled for sheriff sale on Tuesday, August 2nd because of money owed to Wells Fargo. And if that weren’t bad enough the bar’s assets are scheduled to be sold on Friday, August 12th to pay pack the $125,881 in  the bar owes the city. [Philadelphia Daily News]

Shank’s Uptown wasn’t vacant long. The spot is now open as Enzo’s and is serving breakfast lunch and plenty of Levis’ hot dogs. [The Insider]
