Weekend: Empanadas, Grog and Soul

It’s National Empanada Day and Cuba Libre is offering its Mama Amelia’s empanadas for $1 each during happy hour between 5 and 7pm.

Saturday

It’s the second Saturday of the month and that means an interesting tasting at Nodding Head. This time it’s variations on the Nodding Head Grog. The English-style brown ale is being cask-conditioned with mocha, cherry and mole and also oak-aged with yeast from De Dolle Brewery in Belgium.
