Beer Star Coming to Town

Allagash’s brewer Rob Tod is a bit of a rockstar in the brewing community and he’s  coming to town tomorrow, Thursday, February 17th for a whirlwind tour through Philadelphia.

Cool for all of us because where he goes, Allagash beers follow.

City Tap House – Starting at 11:30am Tod will be at the University City mega beer bar for a Belgian brunch. The pay-as-you-go event will feature at least four Allagash beers including his recent collaboration with BeerAdvocate’s Alstrom brothers, Little Big.

South Philadelphia Taproom – Rob Tod’s journey will take him to SPTR from 4 to 6pm. Allagash White will be offered for a happy hour price of $2.50 and there will also be the harder to find Grand Cru, Big Little and Curieux.

Union Jack’s Manayunk – At 6pm he’s slated to be in Manayunk with thirteen Allagash beers.

Fergie’s – 9pm to 11pm sees the brewer join forces with Philadelphia celebrity Fergie, at the Irishman’s namesake bar.

Jose Pistola’s – After Fergie’s Tod will head over to Pistola’s for an episode of surreal variety show, Late Night with Joe Gunn.

Monk’s – What would a day in Phihttp://philadelphia.foobooz.com/wp-admin/post.php?post=23362&action=edit&message=1ladelphia be without the granddaddy of Philadelphia’s Belgian bars? We hear that’s where he’ll end the long day.
