Weekend

Friday

On Monday Stone Harbor’s Quahog’s Seafood Shack will be featured on Diners, Drive-ins and Dives. Since Quahog’s is a seasonal restaurant you won’t be able to celebrate with them down the shore but starting tonight you will be able to enjoy some the seafood spot’s best bites at its sister restaurant, Hoof + Fin.

Saturday

The Soup Nazi (actor Larry Thomas) will be appearing at the recently opened Doc’s Gourmet Soup on Girard Avenue.

Jersey’s finest will gather at noon Iron Hill Maple Shade as firkins of Flying Fish Exit13 and Iron Hill Coffee Stout will be among the beers tapped.

1pm is the start time for the Pub on Passyunk East’s chili cook-off. $5 will get you tastes of up to 12 chilis. As always, the POPE’s tap list will impress.

Sunday

Amis is adding Sunday night gravy dinners to its menu. Available on Sundays the traditional meal will feature house-made pasta, meatballs, garlic bread and maybe some tiramisu and rice pudding.

Restaurant Week begins.
