Patron, Bubbly and Tapas

Valanni hosts a tequila dinner and champagne and tapas cocktail party

Washington Square’s venerable Valanni would like to propose a toast — or rather, several toasts. On Monday, August 16, executive chef John Strain will serve five-course tequila dinner, dubbed the Patron Throwdown, with pairings of traditional tequila cocktails. Then, on Monday, August 23 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Strain will host a Bubbles and Bites cocktail party, pairing butlered Mediterranean-Latin tapas with flights of Veuve Clicquot Champagne. Each dinner costs $55; call the restaurant to make reservations. Click through to view the tequila dinner and champagne-and-tapas menus.
