Hop Angel Brauhaus on Schedule, Has Chef

NEastPhilly.com has details on the upcoming Hop Angel Brahuaus, the Mike “Scoats” Scotese (Grey Lodge) re-do of the Blue Ox Tavern in Fox Chase. The project is on schedule for a September opening and former Slate chef Matthew Hartnett has signed up for the kitchen duties.

Scoats says you can expect the beer list to have a German flavor and will feature many of the German-style beers crafted in the area.
