Indian Coming to South Broad

Last week we were thinking about a Tiffin coming to South Broad Street. This week we learn that Tiffin’s Munish Narula is looking to open a higher-end Indian restaurant at 777 South Broad before the year ends.

Among the details:

  • Open kitchen
  • Lounge
  • 5,000 square foot space
  • 100 seats
  • small plates

While I like the idea of upscale Indian food, I would kill for a good indian takeout/delivery south of washington

Mike, you can get takeout Ekta from Green Aisle Grocery on East Passyunk. They have usually have two or three entrees available.

  • I live right across the street from the 777 South Broad building and I’ve been eagerly awaiting for the store-front/restaurant space to fill out! But I’m surprised that a higher end restaurant is willing to risk opening in that location. The Popeyes and Sunoco gas station across the street from 777 would make for an interesting view as you’re dinning at Tiffin. I am interested to see how it goes…
