Are the Flyers Serious?

When we saw a tweet come across our Twitter feed this weekend saying the Flyers were serving a new funnel cake wrapped hot dog dusted with powdered sugar we thought it was a joke. Perhaps born out of the incessant ads for the KFC Double Down that run during Flyers games. Surely it couldn’t be a serious food item, could it?

But there it is on the Flyers web site, a poll to name this abomination. It’ll be available behind section 114 and cost $6.

Well we guess they had to do something, it looked like Shawny, the “dancing fat guy” was getting a bit svelte.
