Bummer At Tiffin Etc.

Trey Popp is disappointed by the pizzas and parathas at Tiffin Etc and he isn’t even sure if the pizzas are worth trying to fix.  At least there are the kati rolls.

The kati rolls are Tiffin etc.’s best bet. The marriage of griddle bread and fried egg gives you something substantial to bite into, and caramelized onions played a pleasantly sweet supporting role to spiced minced lamb and chicken kebabs in the two versions I tried. Yet I wished for a little more zip from the underapplied chutney in the latter — especially since pickles and chutneys are one of my favorite things about Tiffin. Both kati were also too small to be a meal on their own.

TERRIBLE service! We anticipated the new Elkins Park location opening since October (when they were originally supposed to open). When we called in to order, the guy who took our order tried to charge us 20 EXTRA DOLLARS! We asked for the total and he gave us this bogus total off the top of his head of 50 something dollars! They don’t even except plastic! Who has about 60 dollars lying around for delivery??? We told him we’d call back in a second to calculate the total (which we did). Once we called back, he rudely told us it was now CLOSED. TWO MINUTES LATER?? What an A****E. If the Elkins Park location doesn’t straighten up soon, they will be out of business SOON.

I will post this and make as many people aware as possible
