    oy, it’s worse than that… didn’t April stay in touch with any proofreaders from the Daily News? Here are a few more:

    Hope the kitchen pays more attention to detail than whoever wrote the menu…

    Hopefully the menu isn’t final. They have Kennett Square spelled two different ways, and neither of them (Kennet and Kennette) is correct.

    The grilled vegetable crespelle is made with ‘gilled’ zucchini?

    ‘Beurre’, not ‘Buere’

    i just moved from the city (bella vista) to bala cynwyd and have lost 15 in the past couple months. i could not care less how they spell the food as long as bala ave gets some good food. best of luck, cant wait to try it.

    where do you see these typos? I went there to eat and i didn’t notice any. FYI the lobster profiterole was delicious. I recomend you give it a chance.

    Not sure what to make of this place just yet. I had the ravioli which was mushy and bland but a friend had the steak and loved it it may take some time for the kitchen to nail the menu. Service is a problem here but in the burbs I exspect as much. Our waitress was friendly enough but I think this is her first time working in a restaurant.

    We experienced a culinary delight last evening at Avril. From the beautiful atmosphere to the attentive staff we found this restaurant to be a place we look forward to making a regular part of our future dining experience. Our meal started with an appetizer of wild mushroom and sea scallops that were done to perfection followed by the Lobster Profiterole entree which we both enjoyed.The hazelnut chocolate mousse and creamy cheesecake were the exquisite end to a meal that we totally enjoyed.We sent our compliments to the chef and it was our pleasure when chef Christian paid a visit to our table so we could tell him personally. We look forward to returning to Avril! We send a special thank you to April for her welcoming smile from beginning to end of a perfect dining experience.
