A Homebrew Battle Royale at Mémé

Think your homebrewed suds are tops? Mémé is hosting its first annual “Home Brew” competition on Tuesday, July 21st, giving 10 local non-professional brewers the chance to display their craft to a wider audience. Interested brewers should drop off a sample of their best creation at the restaurant by Monday, June 15th, along with their name, contact information, and type of beer. A Mémé committee will then select the 10 best to be featured.

The event, scheduled from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., is open to the public for $25 a person. Attendees can roam from table to table sampling the beer and noshing on complimentary hors d’oeuvres. At the end of the night, guests will vote on the top brew; chef-owner David Katz is working on rounding up some beer-cenric prizes for the winner. — Erica Beinlich
