With Love

The Greater Philadelphia Tourism and Marketing Corporation has kicked off a new marketing campaign, With Love Philadelphia XOXO that includes short love letters from Philadelpia to all sorts of potential visitors. Understandably, Philadelphia’s restaurants figure prominently.

Below is a BYOB poster and after the jump is a sidewalk scene of Parc. Just one question, can you guess the BYOB?

    Who’s Carl?

Also, I work at GPTMC (Philly Tourism) and even I don’t know where that was shot! I’ll have to ask around.

“Here’s how it works. You round up your friends Nate, Jasmine, even Carl.”

these are less vapid. The Xoxo threw me off for a sec. this morning, thought it said my last name. <3 Bosco

I like the “with love” idea but the postcards are a bit gag-worthy. Do I want a martini with a “splash of delish?” No, because I don’t live in a terrible Cathy comic/Sex and the City mash-up. I live in Philly. (I guess tourists are into all that?)

heh. 20 manning has a wine list if it is them. I was going to guess Mercato. same dark wood motif.

My immediate guess was 20Manning too but that is not a BYOB

Hopefully GPTMC doesn’t use the same graphic designers as SEPTA.
It looks to us like it is indeed Mercato. This Google Street View seems like the same building in the background.

@Drew Doi! Thanks for clearing that up. I thought Carl was a restaurateur or something.

@CMF “girlfriends getaways” are certainly a big travel segment! But with 55 iterations of the creative, I am sure you’ll find some that are NOT Cathy-like.

    Ding! Ding! Ding!

Drew, Rory and Foobooz are the winners. Mercato it is. You guys know your BYOBs.
