Moriarity’s on Walnut seems to be a promising place to watch the Phils in the post-season. I was there yesterday and it was an all-local, enthusiastic (but not obnoxious) crowd. They have large, high-def TVs at eye-level, ample bar seating, friendly staff, and a huge tap beer selection (32 taps, I think). The staff also turned down the Irish music and put on the game audio for everyone. During the 9th inning, when the Phils were on the verge of clinching, tons of people came off the street to watch the final outs.

    Great scene.

I’m going to try out the new Urban Saloon in Fairmount. Lots of TV’s and they play the tv audio in stereo surround.

Probably watching on Wednesday at the Locust Rendezvous. Dirt cheap booze, good apps, and hi def TVs. On Thursday, I’ll be watching at Citizens Bank Park. Woooooooooooooo!
