This Saturday and Sunday is the first ever Old City Fall Festival. in addition to lots of shopping and entertainment there will be lots of food and drink festivities to take part in.

Bulthaup Studio Inc. will host Cooking Demonstrations during the Old City Fall Festival. Doors will open a half hour before the demonstration and seating will be limited. A $5 donation is requested and will benefit the Old City District’s Streetscape Plan.

Saturday
11:00 AM Swanky Bubbles – Learn how to roll sushi with non-traditional ingredients.
12:30 PM Philadelphia Fish & Co – Chef Justin Rambo-Garwood prepares seared sea scallops, grilled shrimp and more.
2:00 PM Bookbinders - Learn how to handle freh seafood and meet chef David Cunningham.
3:30 PM Panorama - Chef Rosmario Romano will demonstrate his cooking and discuss wine pairings.
5:00 PM Amada - Chef Garces will demonstrate Basque inspired pinxtos.

Sunday
11:00 AM Bluezette - Chef Zachary Conover will prepare pan-seared red snapper.
12:30 PM Eulogy - Learn the secrets of making beer with Sir Michael Naessens.
2:00 PM Franklin Fountain – A demonstration on hand cranked ice cream.
3:30 PM Franklin Fountain – Clear candy and candied apple demonstrations.

And if you’re looking for parking, the wonderful Philadelphia Parking Authority is offering discounted flat rate parking at the PPA parking garage underneath the Independence Visitor Center. They’ll even be running a free shuttle from the garage through old city.
