Peek into this shop’s front window and you might think you’ve mistakenly wandered into a pleasantly crowded cottage in rural Provence. The small space is packed with French-­country antiques, some of them hand-painted by owner Florence Maloumian. Tucked in among the furnishings are colorful arrangements of dried and paper flowers, handmade velvet slippers and paintings by local and European artists.
