Eagles-Steelers Injury Update

Riley Cooper appears to be nearing a return, though Andy Reid said he hasn’t made a decision whether the receiver will be active for Sunday’s game against the Steelers.

“I feel great,” said Cooper.

The Florida product has missed all four games to start the season with a fractured collarbone. He has been practicing to some degree for the last few weeks, and said his conditioning is where it needs to be. Cooper is officially listed as probable on the injury report.

Linebacker Akeem Jordan (hamstring) will not play Sunday, meaning Jamar Chaney will get the nod at weakside linebacker. King Dunlap (hamstring) is questionable along with Colt Anderson (knee) and Derek Landri (knee). Anderson and Landri are expected to play. Same goes for Danny Watkins, who missed Wednesday’s practice with a chest injury.

Demetress Bell got most of the reps with the first team at left tackle and is expected to start over Dunlap.

The Steelers, meanwhile, appear to be in good shape.

Safety Troy Polamalu (calf), running back Rashard Mendenhall (knee), linebacker James Harrison (knee) and tackle Marcus Gilbert (groin) are all probable.
