My friends and I went to Susanna Foo's this past Friday, the last night of Restaurant Week 2008, and were disappointed with the careless service. All three courses were ordered from our wait person at the very beginning, and we waited and watched as others around us were served food while we were not. About half an hour after we ordered, our entree showed up, but we had to point out to our server that our first course never made it to our table. Unfortunately, that set the tone for the rest of the evening. We waited longer than necessary for our dinner dishes to be cleared and have dessert brought to us, and when we were finally able to pay and leave, we were greeted by the indifferent hostess staff just inside the front door. No nice smiles, no thanks for dining here, nothing. We left feeling as invisible as we'd apparently been through dinner. The food overall was tasty, but when the service is poor, it's hard to enjoy.
