We had to check out Marigold Kitchen under new chef Erin O’Shea, who's doing upscale Down South cuisine in the same spare dining room where chef Michael Solomonov served up his exotic Israeli flavors. She’s got a big rep to live up to: Diners can be heard asking "Where’s Michael?" (The answer: Working on his new Old City spot, Zahav.) The restaurant makes some of the missteps of a new spot — uneven pacing, green service — but the juicy, flavorful pork loin, sparked with pickled peaches, is a solid start.
