With seating for 180, the Balongue Design-renovated dining room evokes a French Quarter balcony, with high ceilings, exposed brick, and the requisite wrought iron. The menu offers indulgent, seasonal Big Easy-style food. The experience is completed, minus the humidity and the beads, with a Hurricane cocktail and the Crescent City soundtrack of live jazz, blues and funk featured in the canal-level lounge.

I dined at the Bourbon Blue with three others on Saturday, April 26, 2008. The atmosphere was terrific as was the service and food. The server was friendly, professional and very attentive. It was a very nice evening and I would wholeheartly recommend it.
