Local restaurant kingpin Stephen Starr is behind this dimly lit, sexy tribute to Havana. Mojitos and the potent Alma Coladas define the moody lounge. In the dining room, expect modernized ceviches, entrees straight from the grill, and unexpected starches. At dessert, there’s cigars — chocolate cigars. The almond cake wrapped in mousse served with dulce de leche ice cream is a customer favorite.

Review
The food is good, but if you are an authentic cuban like myself, then you know that Alma de Cuba has a few items that hit the mark, but others do not. They need reality check on what they call Cuban or new Cuban cusine.
