Let There Be Light
The old Bucks County church where I’m getting married next year was perfect: tiny, quaint, simple. The lights, though, left much to be desired: big, garish, brass fixtures that left the place dim and, frankly, a bit scary. This past weekend, however, my hubby-to-be and I walked into the church and saw that (hallelujah!) they had been replaced with gorgeous, baroque-style fixtures that brighten, lighten and make the space look utterly fab (well, okay, as fab as a solemn, holy space can look).
It got me thinking: If the right lights can totally transform a church, what could they do for my home? So began my search for new lighting, a search that led me to this modern riff on the traditional chandelier. The clean lines make it modern; the dangling crystals give it glamour; and the nine bulbs let it light up a room, or maybe even a very design-forward church …

I feel that the right light fixture can fully transform any dark place into an open, beautiful space.

I think a small quaint church is the perfect beginning to any msarriage. Good luck Emily!
