Not willing to let his reputation for questionable behavior grow stale, John Street pulled off a mesmerizing just-pretending-to-be-crippled stunt on Friday that was brilliantly captured on tape by CBS 3. According to CBS, the mayor was carted around in a wheelchair not due to a leg injury, but because he “wanted to see what it was like to be disabled.” The mayor told the station that he was having a “sensitivity experience” and becoming reacquainted with some of the issues disabled persons face scooting in and around City Hall.
We’re assuming one of the issues would able-bodied wankers making a mockery of their personal plight for political recognition, but it doesn’t appear to be on the list.
