AI Contestant Stands Up for Herself, Hurls Invective
Yesterday’s post about Warminster-based American Idol contestant Lindsay Pagano was, apparently, a bit misguided. Although the 21-year-old Pagano appears to have had a substantial enough career — consisting of, deep breath, a former record deal with Universal, music videos, a VH1 artist page, an appearance in “What’s New Scooby Doo?” (playing herself, naturally), and a few other things found in a simple Google search — to cause most people to question her “amateur” status for AI’s competition, she (and her angry father, and her friends) claim she’s 100 percent legit.
