Subway attack leaves a man dead: Four teenagers beat a man to death on the subway platform at 13th and Market yesterday afternoon in front of witnesses and a security official. The man, 36-year-old Sean Patrick Conroy, went into cardiac arrest soon after the attack and was pronounced dead at Jefferson Hospital at 3:09 p.m. One of the teens was apprehended, but three other suspects are still at large.
