Seriously, Regardless of How Many Bosnian Bullets She Did/Didn’t Dodge, Clinton Will Lose

Hillary ClintonHillary Clinton’s heroic hand-shaking efforts on a tarmac in Bosnia back in 1996 may have been completely discredited, but even if she had saved 14 Bosnian babies being tossed from a helicopter, it would do little to help her chances of victory at this point. So, as much as it feels like Pennsylvania is this crucial, make-or-break state, could it really affect the election that much?

Not really. Will Bunch — the Clinton Killer, if you will — agrees that Pennsylvania’s influence can only go so far.

“I think barring some kind of Obama calamity, I don’t know how she overtakes his lead,” he tells the Daily Examiner. And that calamity has to be a major one — not just the whole typical-white-person variety: “I think a Spitzer-like scandal would do it. One of Obama’s biggest problems is that he’s undefined. If something like that came along to fill in the blank slate that was so negative — like a sex or drugs scandal, or an easy to understand campaign finance scandal — that could do it.”

So, what are the chances that Hillary actually takes this thing — either by super delegate overthrow, a mathematical miracle, or a colossal, career-ending mistake by Obama? To put it in NCAA March Madness terms, Bunch sees some long odds for Clinton:

“Right now, she’s a 15 seed going up against a 2 seed.”

Not impossible, mind you, but still very, very slim. Maybe the Clinton campaign should bring former Hampton Pirates coach Steve Merfeld in as a political adviser?

nice to know that there is life in Pennsylvania - no offense, but your Governor made it sound as if there are no free thinkers in the state - that everyone votes according to his ideology.
