End Quote: Fred Ex K.O.’d by T.O.?

Today’s Daily Examiner end quote comes courtesy of former Eagles wide receiver Freddie Mitchell, who inexplicably popped up in an L.A. Times story about UCLA wide receiver and NFL prospect Brandon Breazell. Mitchell did for once answer the reporter’s questions and gave the real reason he was prematurely let go from the Eagles:

“Me and T.O. were the best of friends, and that hurt my relationship with Donovan. There were issues between me and Donovan.”

We can probably thank T.O. for that one if it’s actually true.

No, he was let go from the Eagles because he was garbage…

  2. RRMAMBO Says:

Freddie Mitchell is the greatest receiver ever to wear Midnight Green. In 2003 he had almost pro bowl stats with 500 receiving yards and 2 touchdowns with McNabb purposely not throwing him the ball. He has 3 all time Eagles highlight catches; 4th and 26, the deflection off of LJ Smith in the Vikings playoff game and the 14 second 60 yard bomb from McNabb against the Cowboys on Monday night. The Slot Machine also coined more nick names then any other Eagle past or present. Now thats star power. If the Eagles need a play maker bring back the Peoples Champ. We have started a Freddie Mitchell World Wide Fan Club with a grass roots movement to bring back First Down Freddie. In over one year we have recruited more than 7 members, further testament to the Slot Machine’s greatness. We miss you Fredex and your oven mitts!
