Ed Rendell continues his mastery of soundbites: The Guv showed up on NPR on Saturday, gave his usual amusing interview and offered this response to the rumors of him being a potential vice presidential candidate: “Not by anybody sane.” [Philebrity]
Tony Luke inches closer to Oscar nomination: The big-bellied sandwich king scores his first starring role in a movie. He’ll play a boxer in The Nail, which is set to start shooting in the area May 20. [The Mighty Dan Gross]
