Gay Officers Not Forgiving Alycia Lane
Even though anchorprincess Alycia Lane has been vindicated in the alleged cop-slugging, dyke-slurring incident last December that ended her Eyewitness tenure over at CBS 3, gay cops are still pissed. New York’s comic-book-ready Gay Officers Action League is “outraged and deeply concerned” that prosecutors lessened charges to two misdemeanor-level offenses.
Thomas Verni, lead GOAL spokesman, issued this statement to Newsday:
“If people cannot control their anger and hatred and choose to confront and injure a police officer, then what chance does the everyday citizen have of expecting a general sense of personal safety in our city?”
Lane didn’t respond to GOAL’s comments, but we’re sure she’d make it perfectly clear that she’s not an “everyday citizen.” Does Thomas Verni have Gov. Ed Rendell on speed-dial in his cellphone?

She should sue the NYPD cops personally. I’m sure the whole situation started from the cops harassing her.
I’ve lived in NYC all my life. I’ve never seen the police help anyone. I’ve seen them bully and harass many many many undeserving people over the years.
