Anna Benson Closer to Coming to Philadelphia Than Previously Suspected
It appears the Phillies are getting serious about signing free agent pitcher Kris Benson. The Inquirer’s Jim Salisbury filed a story early this morning indicating that the Phillies are in talks with the surgically repaired hurler with the knocker-heaving wife.
“We have interest,” general manager Ruben Amaro, Jr., told Salisbury. “We’re talking to his agent.”
Pitching-wise this could help. Assuming he’s physically healthy, Benson could be a sturdy sixth starter for the Phillies, who still have some major question marks at the bottom of their rotation. But any deal with Benson will also include his wife, who’ll probably be a big hit with the Wing Bowl crowd but not with the Phillies’ wives. Can’t imagine Anna and Jen Utley saving puppies together, since Anna, well, kind of hates animals. Remember this charming letter to PETA on her website a couple of years ago?
And where did you get the idea that animals should have the same rights as mentally challenged people? Maybe we should let animals compete in the Special Olympics as well? You re suggesting that they have the same mental capabilities, so why not? You are all fucking crazy and idiotic for being so radical and one sided about animals. They have, like, two cells in their little animal heads, but I think natural instinct helps them understand that they are here to eat and be eaten.

Balls, I am bothered by one item here… he’d be the sixth starter? We are all okay with Adam Eaton in the 5-hole? Did I miss a memo?

I guarantee you…Anna Benson will be a lot more trouble than having her husband in the rotation is worth. She is a loudmouthed, attention-whoring, classless distraction.
