Something’s on Fire at Penn!
No details yet, but plumes of black and gray smoke have been pouring from the top of a building in the center of the Penn campus for the past 25 minutes or so. (Click image for a larger view.) There are three helicopters hovering over the scene, so expect footage on the network stations soon.
UPDATE, 2:03 p.m.: Fox 29 is reporting that the fire is on the roof of the new addition to Children’s Hospital at 34th Street and Civic Center Boulevard.
UPDATE, 2:30 p.m.: Looks as though it’s all put out now.
