Foxwoods gets another green light: The City Planning Commission voted yesterday to approve the zoning changes needed for the casinos to move into South Philly, in spite of the screaming, sign-wielding crowd that showed up to protest. [DN]

Your large phallic symbol is a nice piece of real estate: The Inquirer building is being put up for sale to the highest bidder. The Center City landmark that houses most Inquirer, Daily News and Philly.com staffers will be put on the market in September. Its inhabitants, apparently, will not. [Inquirer]

Eddie Griffin, RIP: The former NBA first round pick, Seton Hall stud and Roman Catholic legend died in a car accident last night at the age of 25. Griffin battled all sorts of demons throughout his young life. [DN]

Oh, boy: The Phillies won last night 5-4, but lost two more players to the DL — and now ace Cole Hamels will miss his start tonight due to the never-a-good-sign “elbow tenderness.” [Inquirer]
