Lindsay Pagano’s a Professional and Has No Time for Warbling Serfdom
Twenty-one-year-old Lindsay Pagano, of Warminster, walked away with the Fox29 FastPass this morning even though she already has a Wikipedia page and, it appears, a recording contract. It seems a little unfair that Pagano, who was up against four nobodies who combined probably have two years of church-choir solos and karaoke victories between them, now gets to cut to the front of the line.
So, next week, when the drooling masses head to Philly to wait 50 hours only to have their dreams smashed, remember: Little Lindsay Pagano won’t have her heart broken that day, because she’s apparently been training to be a mediocre teen pop sensation her whole life.

I can’t wait to see you fired after your editor finds out that you posted this unverified crap. Try first using something more than wikipedia for research, then bother to check your dates. You are a lazy yellow journalist of the worst kind.
You are probably best friends with one of the other contestants. That would explain the downright nastiness. You aren’t a music critic, and you only saw 30 seconds anyway. Stick to you job, or better yet, get another one.

yeah, i think she is a great singer but idol is about discovering new talent.. not developing a singer who’s first album didn’t sell too well.. altho she is talented & doesn’t have a contract now.. i jus dont think idol is righht for her. i mean she toured didn’t she? she has that aol song? i dono.. she’s already been somewhat “famous”.. i mean she had a record deal..

Read the rules of American Idol. They specifically state you must not have a current contract, manager or agent. Black and White!!!!! Carrie Underwood had a recording CD at the age of 13 where her manager tried to get a recording contract but couldn’t. Bo Bice went professional and toured around the world opening for professional bands before his American Idol stint. The rules are perfectly clear. She is able and eligible to rightfully qualified!!!

i understand what you are saying. i wasn’t being rude or anything i just was saying that she’s already been discovered .. nd its not like she had a cd recording that no one heard about.. its on ITUNES I checked. But its all good. Good luck to her, I think shes great.. im just saying i personally like when the discover NEW talent.

I understand what you are saying BUT if she has been already discovered she wouldn’t be auditioning for American Idol. Lindsay was 13 years old when she had that contract. 8 years have passed. Melinda Dolittle was a singer for some very famous people and I’m sure she had tried to make it out there on her own too. Probably a very good percentage of all those contestants tried something if they were that serious about singing.

actually, she don’t have a record deal anymore. she used to have a contract in an independent record label, but her name was cutten from the label’s website in the past year.
i think she’s pretty good!

Warner Brothers is not an independent label. It’s major.. but shes not signed her cd flopped. And this could be her second chance… but i also wish all the other contestants tons of luckk!!!!!

She not only has a wikipedia page, she has a VH-1 page, a Warner Brother Record page (her label), she recorded a duet with Paul McCartney that HE WROTE FOR HER, she has endorsed skechers & AOL, sang on Scooby Doo…and many other accomplishments.
American Idol is BULL CRAP.
