Tourist Killed in Margate Appeared to Be Nicest Man on the Planet
The newspapers from across the pond have just started to release their fawning tributes to Paul Lavern Ritch, who was stabbed in the heart outside of a Margate nightclub when trying to break up a fight early Sunday morning. Ritch, 37, is being referred to as a “true gent” by the Wales local news.
Ritch, a personal trainer, children’s swimming coach, and, apparently, all-around good guy, was also at one point short-listed by Company magazine as one of Britain’s most eligible bachelors. He also had a budding television career. And many of his friends describe him as “peaceful,” “lovely,” and a “ray of light.”
Atlantic County police are apparently working overtime to catch the scumbag who stabbed him. And, obviously, Margate residents are now spooked, thinking that their tony neighborhood is turning into Olney.
