The Jersey Guy Goeth
Craig Carton, former 610 WIP sports mouth and current host of the immensely popular Jersey Guys show on 101.5, is headed to New York City. (You know those people who call Jersey “The Jerz?” That’s who listens to this show.) Carton will be taking over the slot vacated by Don Imus, on WFAN.
Carton gained notoriety and a growing fanbase for pissing off most of the Garden State for numerous off-color remarks. However, none of those off-color remarks were about the Rutgers University Women’s basketball team, so apparently he’s perfectly suited for this position.
But The Jersey Guys shall go on. Ray Rossi will maintain his role 1/2 Guy; Carton will be replaced by Casey Bartholomew.
