Where in the World Is Al Taubenberger?

AlTMeetstheBoys.jpgCuddly Republican no-shot mayoral candidate Al Taubenberger introduced himself to the sultry green masses at the Eagles training camp in Lehigh yesterday. Appearing as the guest of the not-so-creatively named Manufacturing Alliance of Philadelphia, he continued his noble march toward utter defeat in November.

According to the Philly Metro, Taubenberger shook hands, had lunch with crappy soon-to-be-cut wide receiver Greg Lewis, met Merrill Reese, and did his best to get spectators and players alike to remember his name.

Taubenberger also started his own blog last week (on Blogspot, obviously) to keep potential voters informed of his whereabouts. So far, he has two posts and one enthusiastic commenter named Gary4Council. The blog also greets you with a goofy version of “You’re a Grand Ol’ Flag” — the Larry Ferrari-esque arrangement of which serves as the perfect sonic metaphor for Al Taubenberger. Adjust your volume accordingly.
