Wherever you are in the Philadelphia area this July 4th holiday weekend, we’ve picked out a spectacular fireworks display to help you celebrate America’s 240th birthday properly. From the Parkway to the boardwalk, here’s where to watch Fourth of July fireworks light up the sky.

PHILADELPHIA

Philadelphia Orchestra Free Neighborhood Concert @ Great Plaza at Penn’s Landing
The Philadelphia Orchestra plays a free concert on the RiverStage at Penn’s Landing with plenty of patriotic music to kick off the July 4th holiday weekend, followed by an Instagram-ready waterfront fireworks display.

Pershing’s Own Concert @ Great Plaza at Penn’s Landing
The U.S. Army Band, known as Pershing’s Own, comes back to Penn’s Landing to play a free concert leading up to a dazzling fireworks finale.

Wawa Welcome America Grand Finale Fireworks @ Ben Franklin Parkway
After a blockbuster concert with Leon Bridges, Hamilton star Leslie Odom Jr. and Empire’s Yazz the Greatest, plus the Philly POPS and a tribute to Kenny Gamble and Leon Huff, the skies over the Philadelphia Museum of Art will light up with a fireworks show we can all be proud of. Friday Night Lights on the River @ New Hope/Lambertville

You have two chances to catch Elmo, Abby Cadabby, Cookie Monster and the Count provide the soundtrack while fireworks burst in the sky. One firework. Two fireworks! Ah ah ah.

Independence Day Celebration @ Washington Crossing Historic Park
For the first time in 20 years, fireworks will go bursting in air at (roughly) the spot where George Washington launched his treacherous river crossing.

Southampton Days Country Fair @ Southampton
Southampton’s Independence Day celebration starts early, with a Baby Parade at 8:30 a.m., followed by the Southampton Days Parade, a flag-raising ceremony and a fair with live music, games and rides, capped off by fireworks.

4th of July Celebration @ Conshohocken
Can’t wait until July 4th? Conshy’s fireworks are Sunday in Sutcliffe Park. Make your way there at 6 p.m. for a pre-fireworks party with music, food and drinks.

America the Beautiful Aerial Fireworks Spectacular @ Glenside
Glenside gets into the patriotic spirit with an afternoon parade (a tradition started in 1904, according to the Greater Glenside Patriotic Association), followed by a fireworks display over the Abington Senior High and Middle Schools’ athletic grounds.

4th of July Parade @ Skippack Village
Follow the Skippack parade to Parc Bistro for a barbecue starting at 3 p.m., followed by fireworks in Palmer Park when the sun goes down.

Fourth of July Celebration and Fireworks @ Narberth
Main Line families will be heading to the Narberth Playground for a daytime carnival leading up to music from the Zing Kings and a soaring fireworks display.

CHESTER COUNTY

Freedom Fest @ Nottingham
The 25th annual Freedom Fest on Saturday culminates in a 30-minute fireworks show, which is really a lot of fireworks.

Good Neighbor Day @ Downingtown
Be a good neighbor in Downingtown, starting bright and early with a series of races and fun runs followed by a carnival, live music from a long lineup of bands, something called a Wife Carrying Competition that I’m kind of hoping isn’t self-explanatory, and, for the big finale, fireworks.

4th of July Family Festivities @ Avalon
Avalon gets a jump on Fourth of July festivities with a family-friendly festival Sunday evening, followed by fireworks set to patriotic music. Or head to Avalon Community Hall before the fireworks for a free concert from the Bay Atlantic Symphony.
