“I Woke Up Like This” Morning Dance Party in Center City This Thursday

You know what’s even better than sleeping in? Waking up with a full-blown dance party, complete with coffee, Gangster Vegan Organics juice and plenty of Beyoncé references. And that’s just what you’ll get at Ticketleap’s second “I Woke Up Like This” morning dance party, going down from 7 to 9 a.m. this Thursday.
Now, before I go memorize the “Single Ladies” dance in preparation, let me give you the details: The event will be held at Rittenhouse’s Coda at 1712 Walnut Street and tickets will run you $15 for adults and $5 for kids under 12. There’s will be Saxbys coffee on deck, plus Gangster Vegan Organics juice for sale along with breakfast snacks that you can get in exchange for a small donation. Emcee Elroy will be spinning all the tunes while you get your twerk on — or don’t, up to you. Oh! And did I mention that Remedy Spa & Wellness will be doling out chair massages? Probably somewhere by the temporary tattoo bar — really. How’s that for a good morning?
