Philly’s Marvel Experience Postponed

For those of you eager to try out the Marvel Experience scheduled to come to Lincoln Financial Field this week, you’ll have to put off your excitement just a little longer.

Hero Ventures, the company in charge of the interactive show billed as “The World’s First Hyper Reality Tour,” announced today that the opening has been postponed to “allow more time for necessary technical enhancements.” That’s about all their giving as far as details.

The show will now take place for two weeks starting Wednesday, June 24th and finishing up Sunday, July 5th. Customers who have purchased tickets for June 19th to 23rd will be contacted by Ticketmaster and offered an exchange for their original order and, as a way of saying “Sorry for the inconvenience,” will get a complimentary ticket tacked on to their order. If none of that sounds appealing, you can also get a full refund.

The bad news is it won’t be around if you planned to do this with your dad on Father’s Day. The good news … you still get two weeks to experience it and there is that complimentary ticket! Silver linings, people. Silver linings.
