Several players left the NovaCare Complex Saturday as the Eagles began to cut down their roster.

The following players have officially been released: kicker Carey Spear; defensive linemen Frances MaysJoe Kruger and Alejandro Villanueva; cornerback Davon Morgan; wide receivers Kadron Boone and B.J. Cunningham; offensive linemen Michael Bamiro, Karim Barton and Donald Hawkins; tight ends Emil Igwenagu and Blake Annen; linebacker Jake Knott; and safety Daytawion Lowe.

The Eagles’ roster is at 76. They have to make one more cut by 4 p.m. Tuesday.

Among the notable cuts are Kruger, Villanueva and Knott.

Kruger was a seventh-round pick in 2013. The defensive lineman spent his rookie season on injured reserve and didn’t show much this summer.

Villanueva, an Army Ranger who served three tours in Afghanistan, did not make the cut either.

And Knott, an undrafted free agent in 2013, is gone as well. Knott was hit with a four-game suspension for using PEDs earlier this offseason.
