Add this to the very long list of wonderful stuff you can shop for at the Italian market: Along with fresh pasta, fresh mozzarella and the best pesto of your life, you can now grab your organic fruits and veggies at one of the 9th street market’s stalls, too. According to the Passyunk Post, the Italian Market’s very first organic stall, Ginger Snap’s Grocery, has opened up shop and is selling fresh organic produce along with other drool-worthy items to throw in your shopping cart like honey, pickles and chocolate sauce. Mmmmm.

As owner Dorrie Gilbert told the Post about her decision to set up shop at the popular market, “I want to live and work in the neighborhood that I live, and I see great potential in the Italian Market. A bit of variety thrown in the mix is just what this business corridor needs.”

You can grab your groceries at the stall, located in front of 907 South 9th Street, Thursday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. I, for one, can’t wait to swing by—just the thought of pairing some freshly sliced organic tomatoes with a chunk of Claudio’s mozzarella is making me drool.
