Police Release Video From Washington Square Burglaries

Investigators seek white male, mid-30s, with a passion for nice electronics.

Police reports:

Central Detective Division is looking to identify the suspect wanted for multiple burglaries in Washington Square, Logan Circle and Washington Square.

Incident#1:

Beginning on Tuesday, May 6, 2014, the suspect, who is described as a white male in his 30’s, approximately 6′ tall, thin build, used a crow bar to force entry into Spring Board Media located at 121 South 13th Street. The suspect entered the 2nd and 4th floor of that location and stole an Apple iMac computer and a tablet. During this incident, the suspect was in possession of a silver and blue colored bicycle.

On Thursday, May 8, 2014, police responded to 306 South 16th Street for a report of a burglary. The glass on the complainant’s rear was broken, and the door was ajar. Taken was the complainant’s Nikon Camera with lens, loose change, and a swipe card. Surveillance video was recovered from the property next door which shows the same suspect as the May 6th burglary from Spring Board Media.

On Tuesday, June 3, 2014, police responded to Chatterblast located at 121 South 13th Street on the 4th floor. The complainant states that a silver Apple Macbook Pro 15″ computer, and a 7″ Nexus Tablet were taken from the location. After reviewing the surveillance, it was found to be the same suspect as the previously listed burglaries.

The total loss at this time is approximately $4,200.00.

Suspect Description: White male, 20-30 years-of-age, average height and build, close cut hair with scruffy facial hair, wearing a gray sweatshirt, blue jeans, dark sneakers and a black backpack, and was in possession of a blue and silver bicycle.
