Shooting at Broad and Lombard

There was a four-month-old child involved.

Police are investigating a shooting that occurred at Broad and Lombard streets on Saturday evening at 7:20 p.m.

According to a statement by the Philadelphia Police Department, two women were driving down Lombard Street with a four-month-old child in the back seat when the above Mitsubishi Eclipse began following them, with the driver blowing his horn and hanging out of his window.

When the women turned onto Broad Street, they heard two gunshots, and a bullet struck the rear window. One of the women told police that she saw a gun pointed out of the passenger side window of the Eclipse. No one was injured.

The suspect is described as follows: “Possibly a Hispanic male, 20-30 years-of-age, wearing glasses, and dark hair.”

The car is a red 1995-1999 Mitsubishi Eclipse “with an unknown document in the rear window on the right side.”
