And all the plans for their new digs.

Duke & Winston is shuttering its NoLibs doors and setting up shop on Chestnut Street. We chatted with owner and founder Seun Olubodun to get the scoop on the new location and what they have in store.

First, the move is big—really big. Olubodun tells us their NoLibs shop was about 600 square feet, and their new site at 1822 Chestnut Street (Kembrel’s old location) is 2,600 square feet. “It wasn’t a real retail shop,” he says of the NoLibs location. “This is going to be our flagship store.”

He’s right. An extra 2,000 square feet can fit a lot of extra merch. “We’re purchasing a ton of new product,” he says. Starting today, their spring 2014 line is available online, but if you wait until their soft opening next Wednesday, May 14, you can peruse the collection in person. Plus, they’ll be stocking women’s tees, the early phase of their women’s line, and new accessories by outside brands.

What else is in store: Olubodun says he wants the new location to be event-oriented, with weekly events. And you can expect to be seeing a lot of Duke & Winston around Rittenhouse. They plan to have 15 bulldog owners—a nod to HRH the Duke, Olubodun’s English bulldog and the brand’s mascot—milling about Rittenhouse with discount cards. Plus, there will be shirt giveaways by Olubodun himself.

The soft opening of the new store is Wednesday, May 14, with a formal celebration to follow on June 11th—the same day as their sock collection launch.

Details: Opens May 14th at 1822  Chestnut  Street; Hours are Monday through Thursday from 10am to 7pm, Friday and Saturday from 10am to 9pm and Sundays from 10am to 5pm.
