Jackson To Visit Redskins

DeSean Jackson
will be in Washington Monday to visit with the Redskins, a source confirmed.

There does not appear to be any other scheduled visits at this time.

Asked about the chances of Jackson signing in Washington, a source close to Jackson offered: “I don’t think they are bringing him in to kick the tires.”

Looks like there is a real chance that the receiver ends up staying in the NFC East. By releasing Jackson, the Eagles forfeited any control they had over where the three-time Pro Bowler plays next season. Now they may be facing him twice a year.

“Huge, huge, man,” Washington cornerback DeAngelo Hall said Saturday night, according to CSNWashington.com.  “If we could add a piece like that. . . .  He’s a threat whenever the ball is in hands.

“I feel like our locker room has a good group of young guys, a good group of old guys, man. Some of the things he’s been going through lately, that’s life.  That’s life.  We’ve all been through something, so . . . if he’s able to come here, man, I’m going to take him under my wing and just try to put him on the right path.”
