Snow Snow Snow Snow….

Spring starts this week! But one of the snowiest winters in city history just won’t let go. Philly.com reports:

The snow was falling heaviest in a swath from west of I-95 in Philadelphia through to the east and was falling at the rate of about half an inch to an inch an hour. Gloucester County south and east was forecast to get hit the hardest, with six inches or more.

Philadelphia International Airport was reporting less than an inch as of 7:30 a.m., but that was expected to change. Parts of Cape May County were reporting 7 inches and that was expected to climb.

The St. Patrick’s Day snow is unusual for Philadelphia — since 1892, measureable snowfalls have been recorded in the city just five times on March 17, ranging from 0.1 inch in 1992 to 3.5 inches in 1892, according to the National Weather Service.

There was some exasperation:
