Watch This Super Sweet Flash Mob Proposal at the Kimmel Center in Philadelphia

We recently caught wind of this adorable proposal that happened this past weekend in Center City via—yep!—a flash mob, and wanted to share.

Groom-to-be Jake Atkinson wanted to surprise his future wife, Tracy, with a flashy (pun intended) proposal, so he contacted GoSeeDo, a company that produces “creative experiences,” to help him out. They got in touch with well-known Philadelphia dancer/choreographer and Pew fellow Kate Watson-Wallace, and she and the groom—and artistic director Jay Wahl at the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts, who helped them score the building’s expansive lobby as the scene of the proposal—immediately got to work planning the big event.

On the day of the proposal, Jake told his fiance that the two of them, her daughter, and his two daughters were going to go downtown to a show at the Kimmel Center. Confused and a little irritated by these out-of-nowhere plans, Tracy followed Jake and their daughters from their home in Bensalem to the city. As they walked through the doors of the Kimmel Center, Kate immediately hit play and the first dancer started on cue. Little by little, the rest of the dancers joined in, until Jake and the girls do, too—which is when Tracy finally starts to realize what’s going on.

And of course, she said yes, because how can you say no when a flash mob is involved? Take a look below.
